Mariama Yunusah was born in New York and raised in Accra, Ghana. She later moved to Washington, D.C., where she studied International Studies at American University, before earning her law degree from City, University of London.

Mariama’s deep love for Africa — its people, cultures, and spirit — has shaped her journey and continues to inspire her work. She is passionate about building community, celebrating African heritage, and creating spaces where connection and growth can thrive.
